Little by little
I know many of you are probably on edge and super worried. Ruth survived that scary night a couple of nights ago. I dreaded that middle of the night phone call but didn’t get it. And the next morning she made some positive ground, and continues to do so on life support. I’m thankful for all those who have expressed support, for our pastor showing up during the the time we needed it most, and to God for giving Ruth another day.
She’s certainly not out of the woods yet. We’re taking a day at a time, and really in ICU terms, an hour at a time.
Thinking of you and your family through this trying time and sending all my positive thoughts your way. Ruth is clearly a true fighter and after reading what she has gone through so far I have faith that she will claw her way back up this mountain too!

ReplyDeleteRuth and Roy thinking of you in this battle, my mind goes back to 2016 and the minute by minute battle that we watched Olivia fight in the ICU. God was right there the entire time. All 3 of us continue to lift you up.
